Profile

My research focusses on numerical modelling of waves and currents in and around coral atoll systems.

Currently applied at Hanifaru atoll in the Maldives in order to understand what makes this such a unique manta habitat.

Long motivated by understanding the physical processes in the ocean, I am now fascinated by looking at the feedbacks between physics and ecosystems and how these shape our environment.
